How the giving circle works
The Purpose Loop
1. Funds are pooled
Members sign up to the giving circle. Together, we build collective giving power and create a shared fund for impact.
2. Nominating
Members are invited to suggest organisations that align with our giving focus areas. Organisations are also able to submit themselves via a brief EOI form.
3. Shortlisting
Organisations are reviewed by a volunteer committee. Alignment with our giving principles and other due diligence is taken care of behind the scenes, ending up in a shortlist.
4. Community voting
Members vote on a shortlist of three organisations for each pillar, collectively deciding where our pooled money will go.
5. Giving
We announce the selected organisations and distribute the grants by 30 June each year.
6. Repeat
We reflect on what we’ve learned, share the impact created from the grants, and begin the next giving cycle together.
